NO WEAPONS: ME OR
THEE?
Isaiah 54:11-17
Introduction: Fred Hammond sings a song titled “No Weapon” in
which he says, “No weapon formed against me shall prosper, it won’t work.” As
beautiful as the song is, it depicts the wrong sentiments. Many people believe
that because they are God’s children, nothing can happen to them; they cannot
be hurt or harmed in anyway. We know this is not true. Well, what did the
prophet mean when he uttered these words so long ago? I believe what he said
has more to do with the church than any individual.
