Our mission of hope, health, and healing means embodying Christ's commandment to love and to care for the most vulnerable.

As a church, we're taking action together by supporting these causes, locally and globally.

Supporting local students

LEATAATA FLOYD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL:

At Sacramento Campus, we’re raising funds towards Leataata Floyd Elementary School: a local school that is very near and dear to Midtown Church.

Together, we can meet a largely unmet need for an underserved and beloved school in our community, and help these amazing students to thrive.

Your gift will help ensure that Leataata Floyd students benefit from educational field trips that otherwise wouldn’t be possible.

THE TABLE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION:
The Elk Grove Campus is raising funds for The Table Community Foundation, which provides children with the tools and resources necessary to build a safe place to live, work and play.

The Table’s unique focus is driven by the belief that no child is a product of their community, but rather a product of the opportunities made available to them.

Your gift will invest in students’ academic support, arts programming, mentoring and enrichment activities in a safe and caring environment.

Chosen, with World Vision

EMPOWERING A CHILD WITH
A CHOICE:

Starting with the choice to choose you as their sponsor. Be chosen by a child.

We’re partnering with World Vision to gather families to sponsor children in Ghana. The best part is: the children are empowered to choose their sponsored family!

Sponsoring a child is a personal way to show God’s love to a child in need.

For $39/ month, you’ll help that child and other vulnerable children in their community to stand tall, free from poverty.

You have until Sunday, April 30th at 6pm to sign up as a sponsor.

This week, we challenge you to:

PRAY

Pray for the most vulnerable.

We challenge you to center your prayer time around the most vulnerable in your community, nation, and world. Because we live in a What does it mean to allow God through prayer to make us more mindful, empathetic, more understanding of the vulnerable in so many ways? Because we live in a sinful and broken world, we’re all vulnerable

PROXIMITY

Get in proximity to the most vulnerable.

How can you lean in more to proximity? At work, in your school and community. Look for ways to be more proximate to the vulnerable

PURPOSE

Reflect about your "purpose."

How do we align our life purpose in some meaningful way to the most vulnerable?

Matthew 25:34-46

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”
