God is Faithful

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.

Steadfast love:
Hebrew (chesed) means “loyal love.”
Faithfulness:
Hebrew (emunah) means steadfastness, reliability, and truth (trustworthy).
If we are faithless,
he remains faithful,
for he cannot disown himself.

When the Lord began to speak through Hosea, the Lord said to him, “Go, marry a promiscuous woman and have children with her, for like an adulterous wife this land is guilty of unfaithfulness to the Lord.”
