“God’s Invitation: Rest. Reset. Reconnect.”

Pastor Tyronne Gross Jr.

Key Scripture:
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
Psalm 46:10
1. Rest in God’s Presence

Psalm 46:10

When was the last time you slowed down long enough to just breathe with God?
What would happen if you actually obeyed His command to rest?

2. Reset with God’s Strength

But those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 40:31

What weakness are you carrying right now that you need to hand over?
Where in your life do you need God’s reset instead of another push of your own?

3. Reconnect in God’s Love

4 Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. 5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.

Revelation 2:4–5

Final Thought:

God’s invitation in this season: Rest. Reset. Reconnect.

Rest — because He commands, “Be still and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)
Reset — because He promises, “Those who hope in Me will renew their strength.” (Isaiah 40:31)
Reconnect — because He calls, “Return to your first love.” (Revelation 2:4–5)

Challenge This Week:

1. Where is God calling you to slow down and rest in Him?

2. What weakness do you need to hand over so He can reset you with His strength?

3. Where have you drifted from intimacy with God, and how can you choose Him again this week?
