Meet at church Tuesday nights to assemble lunches (monthly)
We need 150-200 brown bag lunches to distribute each week.
Help resource our unhoused neighbors with basic necessities of food and personal hygiene items.
We’ll assemble these items together the SECOND Tuesday night of each month.

Donate items for hygiene kits
Help resource our unhoused neighbors with basic necessities of personal hygiene items. Items you can donate:
- antibacterial hand wipes
- disposable razors
- soap
- deodorant
- combs/brushes
- shampoo and conditioner
- lip balm
- lotion
- mouthwash
- toothbrushes
- dental floss
- handwarmers
Drop off hygiene kit donations at the Sacramento Campus: Welcome Center in lobby during Sunday services, or bring them with you to Tuesday Night assembly event.

Distribute lunches to the unhoused community on Wednesdays
Every Wednesday morning, we distribute bagged lunches to encampments along the American River Outreach Lunch Bag Program
Serve Opportunities:
2 volunteers
9:30am-1pm – meet at Midtown Church, Sacramento Campus
- Requirements:
*Must be able to walk 1.5 miles. Must feel comfortable in close proximity to unhoused individuals. - Ambassador Training: Register here. Please only register if you have attended the Ambassador Training Class. If not, please register at the link below so you will be ready for the next serve opportunity.
Volunteers are encouraged to sign-up for bag lunches on the day they can serve.
Donate bagged lunches on Wednesday mornings
We need 150-200 brown bag lunches on Wednesdays, to distribute to those living along the American River.
You may donate lunches to ensure we are resourced with adequate food to serve our unhoused neighbors. Putting together lunches supports our ministry in a tangible and practical way for you, your family, or small group and friends to serve together.
A bagged lunch includes:
- sandwich
- soft snack
- fruit
- drink
Simply sign up below, and drop off the lunch bags to the Sacramento Campus on Wednesday mornings from 9:30am-10:30am!

On-Site Shower Services
We offer portable showers on our campus to the unhoused community.
If you’ve attended the Ambassador Training class, this is an opportunity for you to assist.
MARCH 23rd
Serve Opportunities:
- 9:00am -12pm: Set-up and showers.
Help the team get ready for our guests, including light lifting and organizing to serve guests efficiently. Remains at the Church and facilitates guest shower experience. - 10am to 1pm: Delivery
Street teams deliver food and supplies in the community to connect and promote showers. - 11am to 2pm :
Remain at the church and serve our guests and facilitate a positive guest shower experience. Help the team breakdown the site.
