“Seeing What God Sees”
Pastor Tyronne Gross Jr.
Key Passage: Jeremiah 33:1-3
Biblical Foundation:
The Book of Jeremiah 34- Freedom, Judgement, and the Problem of Slavery and Sin.
- Jeremiah is known as the weeping prophet.
- In Jeremiah 19, we saw God’s vision of judgment.
- In Jeremiah 29, we saw God’s vision statement: “I know the plans I have for you…”
- In Jeremiah 34, we saw God’s vision of freedom.
- But now in Jeremiah 33, we see God’s vision of restoration.
The Big Question:
If we saw life the way God sees it, what would change?
Point #1: Seeing God’s Plan While in Confinement
Jeremiah 33:1-3
Point #2: Seeing God’s Heart for Restoration
Jeremiah 33:4–11
Point #3: Seeing God’s Providing of a Savior
Jeremiah 33:12-22
Final Thought: Seeing That God Hasn’t Given Up on Us
Jeremiah 33:23–26
Reflection & Challenge: Questions for the Week
- Where do you feel confined right now—and could that be the place God’s calling you deeper?
- What if what looks like ruins is actually the foundation God is rebuilding on?
- Where do you need to stop trying to fix it and start trusting that Jesus already finished it?
