Main Text: Nehemiah 1:1-11
Biblical Background:
God positioned Nehemiah in influence for a purpose.
The people of Jerusalem were discouraged and defenseless.
When Nehemiah heard, he didn’t criticize — he cried out to God.
What began as a burden turned into a mission to rebuild.
1. The Call to Repentance (Nehemiah 1:3-7)
Some of us have been praying for God to change situations around us, but maybe He’s been waiting to change something within us.
2. The Call to Reconciliation (Nehemiah 1:8-10)
And what I learned is this: most modern bridges don’t start from one side.
They start from both sides, building toward each other, and meet in the middle.
Challenge: ‘Who do I need to reconnect with?’
3. The Call to Responsibility (Nehemiah 1:11)
Live On Purpose:
- Intentional in Connection
- Intentional in Prayer
- Intentional in Witness
