THANKSGIVING MEAL KITS
‘Tis the season of giving, and we’re stepping into a powerful journey of compassion and care! This season, inspired by Matthew 25, we’re reminded of the wisdom and joy in serving those in need. We invite you to be part of our extraordinary Season of Generosity.
In partnership with the Western Service Workers Association (WSWA), we’re on a mission to bring hope, joy, and nourishment to our community. This year, we’re aiming to provide over 500 Thanksgiving meals to families in need — touching the lives of more than 2,000 people!
We can’t do it without YOU. Your hands, hearts, and generosity make all the difference.
Here’s how you can get involved:
Use the grocery list to provide a meal kit
Help us pack and deliver kits
Request a meal kit for a family in need
Join us in spreading love, sharing hope, and making this holiday season truly unforgettable for our community.
SUPPORT YOUNG ADULTS AGING OUT OF FOSTER CARE
When young adults turn 18 and age out of foster care, they may lose access to many of the supports and resources they once relied on, leaving them to navigate housing, employment, and other essential needs with limited support. Through our partnership with The Alliance, we can help these young adults take steps toward independence.
Here’s how you can help:
- Donate $25 Walmart gift cards to help young adults purchase essentials.
- Give hygiene items to meet immediate personal care needs.
- Support emergency needs by contributing items that help during times of crisis.
Together, we can offer practical support and remind these young adults that they are not alone.
SERVE AT LOCAL SHELTERS
CityNet and 5 Keys Shelters provide shelter for men and women experiencing homelessness, and this December, we have two opportunities to show love and care tangibly.

- SATURDAY, NOV. 21 – 5 Keys Florin Shelter
- SATURDAY, NOV. 28 – East Parkway Shelter
SATURDAY, DEC. 19 –5 Keys Florin Shelter
We’ll be bringing lunch, clothing, and hygiene items, and we’d love for you to join us in serving and connecting with our community.
This is a beautiful opportunity to share kindness, encouragement, and hope with our unhoused neighbors. Must be 18+ to volunteer.
