Mark 4 — The Purpose of Parables
- Why did Jesus use parables? He tells us in Mark 4:10–12. The question for us is: are we truly listening for God?
- Jesus used parables to help those who were genuinely listening understand who He is and what He is saying. That’s the purpose of spiritual practices—to help us hear, understand, and respond to Him.
