Big Idea: The main thing God wants from our lives is a heart that loves Him fully and loves people genuinely.

1. You Can Know A Lot About God and Still Miss What God Wants

• Mark 12:28
• Do I simply know about God?
• Or is my life actually being changed by Him?

2. Loving God Requires More Than Words

• Mark 12:29–30
• Love God with the totality of your being.
  Your heart speaks to your affections—what you truly desire.
  Your soul speaks to your identity—who you are at the core.
  Your mind speaks to your thinking—what shapes your priorities.
  Your strength speaks to your actions—the way you live your life.

John 15:5 – “I am the vine; you are the branches… apart from me you can do nothing.”

John 15:9–10 – “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.”

3. Loving People Is the Evidence That You Love God

• Mark 12:31

1 John 4:20 – “Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar.”
