1. The Holy Spirit Comes Alongside You

- Parakaleo: to call alongside
- Parakletos: the One who stands beside to help and support
- You are never walking alone
2. The Holy Spirit Lives In You and Empowers You
- 2 Timothy 1:3–7
- Faith is passed down but must become personal
- “Fan into flame the gift of God”
- The Spirit produces: power, love, and self-discipline
- 2 Timothy 4:7 — finishing strong in faith
- 1 Timothy 6:12 — fighting the good fight
- The Holy Spirit doesn’t just comfort you—He strengthens you to live boldly
3. The Holy Spirit Works Through You
- 2 Timothy 1:6–7 — gifts are meant to be stirred and released
- 1 Corinthians 12:4–11
- Different gifts, same Spirit
- Given for the “common good”
- 1 Corinthians 12:27–31 — every believer has a place in the body
- Do not quench the Spirit (1 Thess. 5:19)
- Do not grieve the Spirit (Eph. 4:30)
- Do not resist what He is doing
- What God puts in you is meant to flow through you to bless others
Closing Thought
- 1 Corinthians 13:13 — the greatest of these is love
- The Holy Spirit empowers us not just for gifts, but for love that transforms people
