More about Tammy Swanson-Dreheim:
Rev. Tammy Swanson-Draheim has made history as the first female president in the Evangelical Covenant Church’s denomination. She brings over 23 years of experience in various leadership roles within the church, including pastoral and chaplaincy positions in Iowa, California, and Illinois. Most recently, she served as superintendent of the Midwest Conference since 2011.
Chair of the nominating committee, Steve Dawson, praised Rev. Swanson-Draheim’s exceptional leadership skills and her appreciation for the diversity of the Covenant. Her heart for relationships and relational health, combined with her unwavering belief in the church’s mission, make her an ideal candidate for the presidency at this time.
Aside from her remarkable achievements in the church, Rev. Swanson-Draheim is a mother of two adult sons and a proud grandmother to four grandchildren.
