Matthew 13:31-32 (NIV)
He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. 32 Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.
What does real Growth include?
A.) There is Preparation (A Plan)
“He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed..” (vs 31a)
B.) There is a Placement (A Plant)
“…which a man took and planted in his field.” (vs. 31b)
C.) There is a Process (Progress, Growth)
“Though it is the smallest of all seeds…” (vs. 32a)
D.) There is a Price to Pay (Pain)
“…yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree…” (vs. 32b)
E.) There is Purpose (Being Productive)
“…so that the birds come and perch in its branches.” (vs. 32c)
Galatians 6:7-9 (NIV)
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
