Jesus was a Revolutionary
- Jesus came to overthrow the oppressive dominion of darkness, shattering its hold on us
- By the power of love, He completely destroyed the chains of sin & death that held us all. (Matthew 13:13-17)
BIG IDEA: God’s Love for us is Radical & Revolutionary
THE CHALLEGE: He’s calling us to Radical Revolutionary Relationships

A Relational Revolution REQUIRES A Deeper Revelation
1.) Relationship Instead of Religion
- “Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees— the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested Jesus with this question:” Mt 22:34
- Legalist Are Concerned with Keeping the Law While Ignoring the Lawgiver –
- The Sadducees & Pharisees Were Focused on The Wrong Thing
- Religion Instead of Relationship
- Matthew 13:13-17
2.) Incomparable Invitation– Love God With Our Heart, Soul & Mind
3.) Liberating Love
- “Love your Neighbor as Yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
- There is No Greater Love Than to Lay Down One’s Life for One’s Friends.
